The European issue is so much more simple than this article suggests. We are voluntary members of an organisation that a slight majority of British people want to leave (as is reflected consistently in polls)

The government will eventually hold a referendum (If this must wait until there is another transfer of powers, so be it) and when it comes we will choose to leave (with that narrow majority that I mentioned earlier)

The minutiae of the debate is lost on the electorate as a whole. It's the simple, accessible argument of principle which we (The nasty Eurosceptics) are winning.

Unfortunately this is rather common here... Today I was at ASDA and I wanted to buy a pair of scissors, they asked me for my ID and they said that it had to be in English since they could not understand anything there. I gently explain to them where the date of birth was and that the date of birth is not in any language since they are just numbers. I also showed my european driving licence and they continue saying that they could not understand those words (in a despective way) I asked to talk to the manager and eventualy I could buy my pair of scissors but they kept saying that they don't accept IDs in other languages. They suggested me to enrole for an "ASDA ID card" in orther to avoid further problems. I think this is stupid and of course I'm not going to get that card, it's very easy to avoid further problems, I won't go to buy there again.

I am 27 years old and I have had this problem before, I've always bought what I wanted though but always threatening them to call the police or something like that. I am now tired and I'd like to do something about this. Does anyone here knows where I have to go to report this discrimination???
