This day 8 years ago pretty much defined the political developments in this decade – from  international politics (obviously…) to  European politics and national politics.  It had also an impact on social and cultural dimensions in our societies. We all seem to remember where we were when we heard the news about the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. (as observed on twitter today!) New enemies and dividing lines were constructed. And the big question remains the same: How can we restore trust between people, between governments and between governments and people? [...] [...] So, today is Septmeber 11. I must admit it's kind of funny how authorities try to protect us by restricting rights And I'm not the paranoid kind, because I admit something needs to be done. But there is a striking resemblance between the way governments are acting and the way some companies are trying to gather as much information about you as possible. There has to be another way to find terrorists, other than stripping EVERYBODY of their privacy. Interesting ad.
